  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt (Optional)

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 

  • 1 ½ cup Fiesta Tropicale Organic Unsweetened Coconut Flakes


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth.

  3. Slowly pour in beaten eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix well. 

  4. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the sugar mixture until well blended. 

  5. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and coconut until evenly distributed. 

  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  7. Bake 12 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven for a chewy cookie or 18 minutes for a firmer cookie.

  8. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
