February 25, Saturday – Mardi Gras Float Parade – 5pm
Important- Get there early if you want beads
South Florida's only Mardi Gras parade is also the most colorful and funnest parade you can find. Our 25 local krewes know how to throw a party – and plenty of beads. Join the crowds and catch some for yourself. The parade goes around the festival and all roads lead to fun in Downtown Hollywood. Look for special deals at your local merchants for good parade seats. Bring a ladder, a bead bag, and your best Purple, Green and Gold outfit for more fun than you dreamed possible!

February 26, Sunday – Sun-Sentinel Kids Fiesta – Noon to 9pm Kid and family party.  Bring last nights memories, and your friends that missed the parade for the final day of Mardi Gras. The same great food, national sampling booths, attractions, face painting, Rick Hubbard's Kazoobie show, and much more. 7,500 attendance. Great music acts like J.J. Callier & The Zydeco Knockouts , Mem Shannon & The Membership, CB Pope Dixieland Allstars, Mel Morley, and Lil Aaron and the Old Guys!

February 28, Tuesday – FAT TUESDAY ON HOLLYWOOD BEACH – Mardi Gras Day Noon to Midnight – This day is a holiday in New Orleans, there is no way to work with all the chaos, but in Hollywood, we just go to the beach Broadwalk and chill out for the day, and watch the revelers, Dixieland Bands, Samba girls, costume krewes, and silly tourists. Plenty of things to do on the Broadwalk with over 30 restaurants serving up your favorite Louisiana dishes.  100 vendor and national sponsor displays, 8 bands playing throughout the day, a 2nd Line parade and a blowout concert with Dr. John, Mem Shannon & the Membership, Marcel Anton Carnivale, Timothea, Papillion, Dave Camp Band, Oriente, Dixieland Jazz plus much more.  50,000 attendance.
